How does the cluster light up if the overlay is covering it, will the light shine through? |

Yes, it will. It doesn't actually shine through the gauge itself. The light comes from the side of the gauge face as seen in the diagram below.

Do the needles on the gauges come off, how do I install these overlays? |

There is no need to remove the needles with our kits. You simply slide the decal over the needle and position it over hte old gauge face. |

Why are your gauges so inexpensive? |

White Gauges are overlays, not the gauges themselves. They are basically high-quality stickers which are an easy and economical alternative to replacing the entire gauge. |

Do I have to paint the gauge unit? |

We would not recommend painting them in case you change your mind and want to remove them later. If decide to paint the unit, it will not affect the new overlay. |

No they are vinyl printed on high quality vinyl. |

How long do these overlays take to install? |

Usually around 30-60 minutes depending on the vehicle. |

I noticed you have to use soap and water to install them, why? |

This is for lining up the gauges 100% correctly. Our competitors gauges are paper and use a very sticky adhesive, so once it is placed, it is placed for good. |

Is there a slit in the white gauges? How do I get them over the needles? |
| A: |
No there is no slit in the white gauges, the hole for the needle on the white gauges is big enough to slip them over the needle, it is very easy to do and each white gauge set comes with instructions on how to do this, you can also view them on the link on the top bar that says install instructions. |
