This is not recommended at all, the surface of the squeegee is soft so it will not scratch the white gauges when installing. Using a credit card can scratch the surface of the white face gauges and a credit card is big, bulky and hard to get under the needle and the spots of the white gauge where it needs to be sealed to the gauge faces.
