Setting your mileage to any count reading is easy and great for vehicles with a new engine rebuild, replacing old and faded readings or to match the original mileage if replacing a broken speedometer with a working one. Note: It is not illegal to reset your odometer, but it is illegal to lie about the vehicle mileage.
