Overview:
In this tutorial we show you what step-by-step from start to finish how to repair your needle the right way. Now please take note that there are 2 styles of needles, this tutorial covers the older style and most of these older style needles are either a bright orange or a white color and do not directly light up like the newer style needles. To start off you will want to gather a couple things to make your process go smoother and we are also assuming if you're repairing your needles then you are also painting them.
Things you will need:
- Needle paint from our online store
- Razor blade
- GEL Super glue
- Piece of paper
- Scotch and or masking tape
- A place clean and free of dirt to paint the needle
1. Prepare your work area
Start be gathering the broken needle pieces together on a clean surface.

2. Repairing the needle
The most important thing to remember when working with the needle is to BE CAREFUL! The older the needle the more fragile they are so take your time. Start off by opening the super glue and taking one side of the needle and dabbing a small amount of glue on the end. It is best to use the gel style super glue for a couple reason, the first is that it dries much quicker and the second is because it give it some stability so the needle stays straight while your waiting for it to dry. Don't worry about any access glue you want to wait for it to dry first so give it 5-10 minutes to play it safe.

3. Clean up the needle
In this step we will simply be cleaning off the super glue so the needle flows straight with no edges, bumps or dips. Once the needle has dried, you will want to get a razor blade out and slowly and gently cut away the excess glue. Don't worry about scratching off the paint. The new paint will take care of that.

3.Check and paint the needle
If you followed the steps above your needle should be ready for paint, we have separated the tutorials so follow us over to the needle painting tutorial for the next step.
